QA Tester - Manual
Job Description: The manual QA Tester serves a key role in validating the quality of all project deliverables and code supporting the project. QA analysts will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, and experience developing and executing tests covering multiple types of testing. They will have experience working on multiple large enterprise and Agile product development efforts. QA analysts must possess strong technical and soft skills, balancing the strengths of quality team members with software developers and enabling team members to conduct all tasks necessary to certify the solution. Team members may not possess all skills listed below; however, a solid mix of these skills and experience listed are required. Required Skills: Working experience with JIRA, Git/BitBucket, Jenkins. Independently manages all QA and testing activities as assigned for test planning and execution, addressing blocks or issues affecting progress, working all defects associated with application under test to closure. Hands on experience working with Project or Business Teams to review business requirements and use cases, providing feedback to improve product completeness, quality and testability. Experience working in a Test-Driven Development environment, reviewing unit tests (created by developers) and gauging overall quality and code coverage. Demonstrate ability to write manual test scripts from scratch. Experience working in Agile pods or Scrum teams, within the confines of iteration based ALM and SDLC practices, as well as deep experience in all facets of Agile development. Usability testing and or heuristic inspections. Project Overview: The project will be re-designing and developing two major legacy systems using bleeding edge Java and open-source technologies. Legacy system functionality will be ported over to the new system and re-designed when necessary. The project will be done using practical Agile/SCRUM project methodology.

Manager - Quality Assurance
JOB TITLE: Manager - Quality Assurance (Sterility Assurance) LENGTH: 6-24 months PAY RATE: Up to $80/hr. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Associate is responsible for providing direction and leadership to reusable medical device business unit to maintain sterile product and related quality and regulatory compliance within the company. • Establishing and directing corrective actions and product disposition as it pertains to sterilization deviations and sterilization related product quality issues. • Providing sterility assurance resource support for the administration of sterilization supply chain qualification / maintenance, product design control qualification as well as R&D product development/ new product launch. • Providing manufacturing site related external audit (i.e. FDA, TUV, BSI etc) support as it pertains to sterilization qualification/maintenance, sterile product release. • Applying state of the art techniques to create a compliant, efficient and cost effective sterilization supply chain. • Qualifying reusable device related sterilization and cleaning processes that comply with FDA requirements and customer requirements/capabilities. • Identifying, qualifying, and managing contract sterilization and sterilization related contract laboratory test suppliers. • Designing and implementing sterilization related quality systems which comply with corporate policies and applicable external standards. • Providing sterilization related training as it pertains to business units • Establishing quality system documentation required for the qualification/implementation and maintenance of sterilization processes, sterile product release, as they pertain to compliance per applicable external standards/regulations. • Developing, validating, and implementing new / state-of-the-art test methods to support the business units sterility assurance program. • Establishing and directing corrective actions and product disposition as it pertains to sterilization deviations and related product quality issues QUALIFICATIONS: • 8+ years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry • This position requires a technical degree (Microbiology or Chemistry degree preferred) • Knowledgeable of industrial sterilization modalities (i.e. Ethylene Oxide, Radiation, Dry Heat and Moist Heat sterilization). • Knowledgeable of reusable device cleaning and sterilization processes (manual and automatic cleaning, steam, EO, STERRAD, and V-Pro sterilization, etc.) • Maintains expertise regarding the requirements of all applicable external standards (i.e. FDA, ANSI/AAMI/ISO and BS/EN) that pertain to medical device sterilization process validation • Strong technical writing skills required
